Please join us in welcoming Dr. Diana Dugas, NMSU’s first “Cyberinfrastructure (CI) Architect.” Diana started at ICT on August 1st in her role of bridging the worlds of research and IT to improve IT and cyberinfrastructure support for research. What do you prefer? The preferred name option on my.nmsu.edu now available to students and includes preferred name for class roster and legal name on grades.

NMSU Syllabus Resource provides required syllabi content and additional resources and information to faculty for developing their course syllabi.

The Online Course Checklist provides strategies to help you meet minimum requirements for online courses.

If you are interested in using virtual desktop interface wherein you are using specialized software with your students, please email systems@nmsu.edu.

STAC Updates

Is your computer sick? Pete’s Computer Repair Clinic will be at HJLC 2nd floor, this month, between 8am-3pm Monday, August 29 through Wednesday, August 31. Charges apply. ICT will email more information and pricing sheet.

Preciado Park now has wireless Internet.

The ICT/ACANS Meeting will occur Thursday, September 22, Harman Jacobs, room 126, 2:30-4:00pm and the picnic will follow from 4:00-6:00. IT professionals and interested parties invited.
